@herb_fargus If you're talking about that one where I have to create full themes for 70+ systems, you can put that out of your mind. Haha.

the system-specific one is the dream, but yeah :)

i like it when there's at least a colour variation in each system, like pixel currently does. also as someone who doesn't like metadata i'd prefer if there was just space for the gamelist and screenshot and no other boxes, but that's probably just me :)

@Rookervik hey I used workbench for a while when I was playing around with the themes... I use one of the pixel themes now... are there any I should try?

N64 emulation is the next step :)

@dankcushions Totally not alone. Meta data can really, REALLY, slow the Raspberry Pi's boot time. Your gamelist goes from 5 lines per game to over 11. That really increases what ES has to load.

So yeah, screw meta data. Screenshot is fine. :D

@Rookervik So I shouldn't use the book one?

@CodeDrawer Hahaha. The book isn't set up to match the original pixel theme. So the logo, gamelist and screenshot won't line up inside the book. I was thinking about getting a nice layout and just releasing skins for Pixel. Then people could pick whichever background they wanted.

Is Pixel 2 only for 16:9 formats?
                                I prefer #5 :)

#5 all the way, or #3 as an alternative

I seem to really like a dark coal grey top bar. Then a bar you can change colors on for each system.

I think this is my favorite out of all of the mock-ups so far.

Also looking closer at that new mock-up the box that I'm assuming to be the description box should extend as far as the boxes above it. Still I understand that this a mock-up.

I look forward to more mock-ups!
