      Hi

I have just made my first retropie with usb snes controller, this works lovely with a snes rom but it is no where close with a spectrum or vice i dont seem to get control with either a keyboard or snes controller.

Could someone point me in the direction of what i need to be doing as i am not suer if this is me not understanding keyboard controls, snes controls or something else?

Thanking you for your advice in advance

      Russell

        What emulators are you using?

If you set up the controls correctly for RetroArch, it should work well on lr-fuse for the Spectrum.

@russkil use lr-vice for commodore then it uses the retroarch config. No headache setting up the controller.

@russkil when you select a game while it is loading, the screen that says, press a button to configure will also say vice or lr-vice on it.

ahh thank you, will look and come back to you., presumably if it doesnt then go into retropie setup and remove the vice install and install lc-vice? do i have to be careful about it purging roms?

@russkil you can have both installed if you want. When you actually "press a button to configure" you can choose which emulator you want to run.
