How's Dosbox does it run well? And what you recommend?

My pc fried while ago since in struggling with money due to bills and other things i havent been able to save up for a new one but i do miss me some old 90s pc games...
I wonder tho how does dosbox perform
Can it run games like the first Elder Scrolls game?
Also what are some good dosbox games that the pi can handle?
I mostly like Rpgs and shooters from the 90s that is...
I havent rly give it shot yet i hear multiple things that dosbox runs horrible and then on otherside i also hear dosbox is great so yeah.
