@xeon what about ?
-
@buzz
The down vote system has been proven on many boards and forums to be abuse able.
That why many have eliminated it because all you need is 1 troll with 10 accounts. -
@xeon I downvoted at least two of your posts. Only those with a certain ranking can downvote. You might want to change your attitude and the way you react to people to avoid downvotes.
I was actually considering banning you previously, due to thread spamming, and your constant over-reacting.

@Xeon Hey man you act like a child on the forums. Did you know you can see who downvotes your comment? Yea, you got downvoted by two mods. In the future have some patience. You shall get help but not if you demand it or act stubborn if its not immediately provided.
PS : You called the sole Administrator of Retropie a troll. Lucky your ass is still in town :p
-
Saying this in a very kind and calm voice.
The spamming is a bad habit, I will work on that.
I never called anyone a troll, i said 'all you need is 1 troll'
I am just a very direct person.
I'm not the type to play mental games.
Back on topic, it has been proven to be a flawed system because people will work to get 10 account ranked just to use it for abuse.
-
Maybe you shouldn't tell others how to run their communities?
-
Not telling him how to run his community.
He can do whatever he wants.
Also some downvotes do not show the user that downvoted.
You are dealing with a public forum, people have different ways of communicating, what may be utterly offensive 'like not just accepting what someone says and engaging them in a discussion' may be seen as offensive to some but not to others.Will admit i made a huge mistake on how i handled the opengl / gles thread.
To be honest i recently had a huge accident and lost my right arm so my mind is a bit mixed up.I apologize for that thread.
However for some the 'butt hurt' remains and the down voting continues.
-
@xeon There. I gave you an UP vote, not out of pity for your unfortunate accident, but because with your apology etc. you are making a turn. I think you probably have some good ideas to contribute, and it is fun to see what projects people are working on. Let's get on with your setup. What are you doing with RetroPie? Post something cool in the Projects section and lets get your setup running tip-top!
-
@Xeon Congratulations, You have reached a place many are not capable of. Keep it up. Also I am free now so I can answer your questions on the IRC if you are online. Hit me up.
-
Guys I really love the pi and I love games this project awesome.
Would just love to see it grow. -
-
@hex That's pretty handy.
Are we able to connect switch controllers to retropie? -
@xeon i have a friend with one hand. I had thought of modifying controllers for him but he is really good on call of duty on ps3/4 without any mods. He cant hit the l1 and l2 buttons easily though. One idea i had was actually modifying a controller to be able to use several rockband, guitar hero pedals or some racing controller pedals to use as buttons. If you ever want a modification done i would be more than happy to work on it for you. Also there is a 1 handed controller made for the ps1 called the asii grip and a ps2 one called ascii grip v2.
-
Their also appears to be one for the super nintendo and saturn.
-
More buttons are always welcome
I bought one of these

But it really needs another analog.Been able to play metriod.
-
@xeon ps1 also has this controller
-
@Xeon I dont have a switch to test this out. I think with some hacking it should be possible. Anything that can be programmed can be hacked.
-
@hex So true.
I just want to thank you guys for truly being sincere and understanding. -
@Xeon Well there are a few we are able to turn around.
Regarding the documentation part, are you seriously interested in writing one?
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
