Good evening folks... So i finally have my trackball working, and everything is humming right along. Kind of curious what the best version of GT is available for the PI3.

      I have 2k, and 3d working.
      but GTGT doesnt work...
Just not sure what all versions I should be going for (for course variety etc).
Also with ADV mame being the core, does versioning matter like it does with all other mames?
      thanks

You should also be able to get gtgt and gt2 to work. gtgt requires gtg as a parent ROM.
And yes, the version of the ROMset always matters with MAME or any other arcade emulator. If using AdvMAME 3.x or 1.4 you need ROMset .106.

@dunginhawk gt up to golden tee classic? (2001) works in mame2010. With frameskip 10 gtc and gt2k runs flawless.

@edmaul69 does it support a usb trackball? If so, I might have to do a little investigating. I’d rather use a libretro core.

Golden Tee Classic (2001) is the latest AFAIK that will play on the RPi without having to overclock
