      Hello,

It's been a while since I've looked a the Tronkyfram theme as it use to get the white screen of death which too many emulators running, is this still the case?

I couldn't find much when searching or on Github:

      Thanks

@g0nz0uk If you update ES to the latest version and reduce VRAM to 80, you should be able to run TronkyFran without issues. Plenty of improvements have taken place in ES to accommodate that scenario, so you should be good to go.

            Hello,

I just updated my build to Retropie 4.3 (fresh image - RPi3) and I really love the @Tronkyfran theme too. It's working for me with about 8 systems and it's fantastic now that the white screen issue has been fixed.

I do notice though some studder/choppiness scrolling through the systems wheel - usually after playing a game and returning to ES (also notice this with ZOID theme). Seems to labor a bit in ES.

Just trying to gauge if this is normal behavior due to the images/theme demands, or if I've missed a thread someplace that explains this. The Carbon is quite smooth for me, but obviously a bit lighter theme.

My ES VRAM is set to 80, and I am running at 1080p. Is there anything further I should be setting to help it run smoother or is it just the nature of the beast?

            Thanks

@rumblinbuffalo there's indeed an issue with the texture memory after exiting an emulator. No real solution for that for the moment. You may try adjusting VRAM and restarting ES to see if it works better. Maybe 90/100? Depends on the number of systems you have.

@pjft Appreciate the info. I gave that a try at 90/100 and didn't really see much difference. But I did (upon reading another thread) turn off the fade effect and that seemed to smooth it out a bit.

@rumblinbuffalo if you set the transition style to instant the wheel wont scroll so you wont see any stutter.
