How to add new emulators on top of the default ones?
-
Hello,
Today I installed the retropie for the first time to my new raspberry pi 3. I uploaded roms for different roms but I couldn’t find a folder for psp. I created the folder but it didn’t work. The retropie is not detecting the files I put in that folder.
Anyway it seems that even the latest version of the retropie doesn’t have the psp and also amiga emulators included.
How can I install both psp and amiga emulators? Is there a step by step on instruction page or document?

@kaanaslan Read the docs. https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/First-Installation#installing-additional-emulators
Thank you very much. I got my answer :)

This seems as good a place to ask as any...
What's the difference between an emulator and a port ?
-
@landyvlad A port is a new version of a game, re-programmed for a new environment - it's ported to another platform - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porting#Porting_of_video_games.
The emulator is just a re-creation of a hardware/software system (console or arcade) meant to run the same ROMs/games as the original system.
