My first pi build
-
Since I didn’t want to mess around with image size you can view where I am at on this on my g+ page here I just used the current raspbian build to make sure I can get my display to function on my raspberry pi 2 board I originally purchased that display which is a hy28a resistive touchscreen back with my first raspberry pi 1b. Currently trying to figure out when in lxde why my x controls y and vise versa. Once I have that figured out I think I will try working with RetroPie image as I think it might be less of a pain since currently I am using raspbian Stretch and from what I have read so far, it looks Luke a headache to build on top of. I still need to learn more about GPIO’s to figure out if I can add input buttons and which of my remaining pins I can actually use. Also need to figure out how to get this display to function correctly works good with RetroPie command line but I suspect that for emulationstation it was pushing to my hdmi port and not my tft display. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to comment.
