NES Pi
-
Hello everybody.
i want to show you the converted Nintendo NES. The Case is designed for Raspberry Pi 3 and 2 Modell B.
-
great job!
-
Nice!
Can we get more high resolution pictures and also from inside the case?
-
- What did you use for the black plastic that you cut out the holes (for the HDMI, ethernet, etc.)
- Did you use a Mausberry switch for the Power/Reset buttons?
- How did you internally get the female ends of the HDMI, USB, and Ethernet in place? Are these just male-to-female cords glued in to the black plastic?
Looks amazing, I'm doing something very similar.

Very nice! Very well finished, I noticed that the recent projects are looking very meticulously polished indeed.
-
if you click the images, they are again slightly larger.
- i use ABS Plastic. all Parts are 3D printed.
- no, i use normal switches. The Raspberry becomes the Power over the micro USB.
- yes , just male-to-female cords. But nothing is glued, all parts are bolted. ok a little glue to fix the LED ;).
-
Can you share the Stl? And what hardware you used? I would love to do this!
-
Looks great, I also have a pi in a nes casing but can't get the gpio to work for power or reset. Can you tell me how you did this?
-
@Predator04
maybe i like to someday publish a guide on my website.@XVO
i don´t use the GPIO for power and reset. It´s a connection between5V Power Supply --> micro USB female jack --> taster(NC) for Reset--> switch(on/off) --> micro USB mal jack to put it on the raspberry.
This way is user friendly, programming free, usable GPIO´s.
I have already sold a few. The last went to california, from Germany.
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
