GamepadBlock with two megadrive controllers

I installed the gamepadblock today and it recognizes my first megadrive controller without any problem (after auto config) but it sees the entire gamepadblock as one controller and doesn't differentiate. So the directional buttons on the second controller work for P1, but P2 has no controls.
I'm guessing this is just a simple retroarch config thingy but I'm not to sure as to how I should set the inputs.
I only want to use this gamepadblock for the megadrive and 32x emulator.

Did you enable the USB HID quirks as, e.g., described at https://blog.petrockblock.com/2017/10/10/tutorial-gamepadblock-raspbian/?
Otherwise only one controller is recognized. The patch for that is already accepted in the Linux mainline. It will take some time until that patch reaches Raspbian and RetroPie.

I just realized that like 5 minutes ago, just tested it and it works!
