ControlBlock Version 1.6 not working. Says I'm missing CMakelists.txt file
-
I'm trying to install my ControlBlock ver 1.6 on my Raspberry Pi 3 B with RetroPie 4.4. When I try to run "mkdir build && cd build && cmake .." it tells me that I'm missing the "CMakeLists.txt" file and I can't go any further. I see that this file exists in the "ControlBlock2" folder for the 2.x version installation...and I tried to copy this file to the "right" location but it still fails for me.

@bertoruiz I think you need to type those command from inside the ControlBlock2 folder, so try to type
cd <path/to/cb2folder>
before running the build commands you mentioned in your post. -
@mitu I did try try this, but my version of controller is 1.6 and all instructions pertaining to ControlBlock2 folder are for all versions 2.x

For ControlBlocks version 1.X you need to use the driver at https://github.com/petrockblog/ControlBlockService. The instructions from https://github.com/petrockblog/ControlBlockService#downloading should work.

Never mind, I just saw on Github that you have already tried using https://github.com/petrockblog/ControlBlockService. I take a look into it now.

I have also tried to subscribe to thread and I never get a notification when someone responds. I'll check in later this afternoon to see if you have been able to figure out my problem with the 1.6 version of ControlBlock. Thanks.

I ran the installation with the new instructions and it still fails. I've tried both the standard install process as well as the quick installation. Each time I used a clean install of RetroPie 4.4
