        @drmyth Why not both?
Apparently the deluxe version includes a Snes USB Gamepad. Can't comment on the quality but hopefully in between 8bitdo & Buffalo.

I've seen a few videos posted that indicate the build quality of the controllers are very good.

Anyone know if all of the power/wire issues have been resolved in this version? I use a flirc and had the original Nespi case but would like to go back to something more flashy for my main Pi.

@thedatacereal As far as i know these problems where solved in the new revision NesPI Case plus.

The SUPERPi-CASES-J/U uses the same board as the NesPI Case plus.

Awesome! Was just about to pull the trigger on the NESpi case so this was a welcome sight! Any idea what the best fan/heat sinks to add will be? Preferably a fan that turns off when I turn off the unit...

@edmaul69 Do you know if there is a shutdown script for this model that saves metadata?

                      Edit:

Nevermind, the Amazon page specifically says it does now. Wow.

@drhumongous I don't see any fan vents but I'm still researching. I bought these for my first NesPi way back when.

I only used them on the 3.3v though to keep it as quiet as possible.

The vents are on the bottom of the case and there's a nicely designed area where you can install a fan directly above.

                          Those should work well.

@mediamogul Thank you as always. I just ordered the Japanese version. I love the console look but prefer the American blue button scheme so it's a compromise 😁

It's a really nice case. I'm considering it myself.

@mediamogul Of all the cases they have made and the fact they have listened to the community after each, I am investing for all of the imaginary friends I have over and hurricane season at work when we are stuck indoors restoring power to the city.

Part of it is also that as much work as you all have put into the project and I have taught myself with linux ( including trying Slackware as my first intro many years ago) I feel as if Retropie deserves a quality home. Flirc is awesome but doesn't give the aesthetic WOW factor that the effort has accumulated.

@rion because I only have the one pi and as much as I want the snes case cant justify spending the money on a new case so soon after buying the nes one

Is there any way to buy this case outside of Amazon? Or is this Amazon exclusive?
I want to pay via PayPal and Amazon does not accept PP.

It looks like Retroflag is exclusively using Amazon. There's always eBay. The prices and package options seem to be the same, but shipping might be a deal-breaker.
