Next level theme on retropie

Hello eveybody! I recently install the retropie system on my raspberry pi3.. before that!!, i have tested the recalbox system and i had the next level theme.. witch id very dope,i really love this theme
.I try to put it directly on the retropie theme bit its lagging. The same happened wotv the splashscreen.
And i donr unserstand why, maybe i have to change something on the xml files???

The Emulationstation version used by Recalbox is different than the one in RetroPie, I'm not sure themes are compatible also. Use one of the themes available in RetroPie install script and it should be ok.

Ok thx, i try to install several themes. I mike bluray and soda... but soda is lagging

@espegael You could try increasing the VRAM (Video RAM) from the settings in Emulationstation to see if you get better results.
