Will Odroid-N2 be supported in future?
I would like to run RetroPie on the new board Odroid-N2. I believe it will have great performance to play high requirement games such as N64/Dreamcast/PSP... etc. If it can run will fantastic!!!

@alanwsl Saturn is running nicely on it too with yabasanshiro, lr-reicast can run at 1080p on a lot of games, it's also pretty good on some 2D arcade games that ran poorly on raspberry. I didn't test n64/psp, i only tested/debugged emulators i'm involved with (actually that was the whole purpose of odroid sending me one).
I don't see why you wouldn't be able to run retropie on it, build scripts might need a bit of tuning though.

          Thanks for reply @barbudreadmon
Hearing Retropie can run nicely performance is good. I was following ODroid-XU3/XU4 steps to install without success @_@" I got stuck while running "sudo. /retropie_setup.Sh", it shows the unknown platform. Will have a look at the script and see what can I do about it ^_^

Oops ^_^", I still can't figure out the script. I can run the retropie_setup.sh but nothing can install. I love Retropie very much, rather than others like batocera, lakka, recalbox etc... It gives very nice experience to using it. Really want to make it happen on the N2.

Will there be any instructions on the download page like "the Hardkernel Ubuntu Minimal image please follow these instructions" for N2 in the future?

Or anyone knows the steps can be shared??

I picked up a pair of these myself due to the excellent performance I was seeing in reviews on Batocera, but if anyone has any good instructions on how to use the retropie distro for this I'd be very interested since I'm already familiar with it.

@Furluge Try including the modifications in the PR - https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/pull/2692/ - to get the RetroPie-Setup script to recognise the new system.

RetroArena (odroidarena.com, based on retropie) will be soon available for the N2 ! Check their discord for announcements

@mitu Thanks for pointing me to this but reading the issue thread it looks like that isn't working. And I have to admit I'm not adept enough with Linux to really provide a whole lot of helpful feedback.

I am honestly more hyped for this than the PI4. This thing is a beast and it appears the passive cooling works very well. I would love to see Retropie running on it!
