I received my GPi case earlier this week. I had some issues that I've ironed out. The first Pi Zero W I installed was defective, replaced it with another and was good to go. I know many prefer step-by-step instructions, so I focused on that aspect first.

      Here it is:

      Retroflag GPi Quick Setup Guide

Video Companion for the above Instructions

      Hope you find it helpful!

What’s the boot time, from switch on to usable menu?

I timed it to 46 seconds from power-on to Emulation Station being navigatable. Power-off to shutdown script completion at 11 seconds.

Thanks for that - it’s not too bad. I wonder if there’s scope for some optimization for handhelds in order to make the startup time even shorter...?

@AndrewH Disable file shares, Wifi (and network), configure Emulationstation with 'Parse Metadata only'.

I’ll need to get one first. Despite monitoring Amazon & AliExpress for weeks, I missed out on the first batch. :-/

@AndrewH According to their Facebook post, looks like mid-end of July for their next batch. I just lucked up, I was refreshing the page every 30 min.

@jonecool nice video. You might want to adjust the link to your site, it has a typo.
