      Hi folks,

a friend of mine is looking for a beat'em up from his youth (around 1989). The only prominent feature that he remembers was that you could jump onto street lamps and kick enemies while hanging from the lamp.

Does anyone remember such a game?

      Thanks
      Clyde

        Sounds like Ninja Gaiden.

Ninja gaiden, also known as shadow warriors.

Ninja Gaiden is one example of the NES version being a significant improvement over the arcade version, you might want to give it a try.

System Config: Retropie 4.4 with full desktop, RPi 3B, 256gb SD, 5v 2.1A 5,200 mAH USB battery. EasyMSX controller mounted with Pimoroni Hyperpixel 4 (non touch). Also running 4.6 on a 4gb Pi 4 serving as my primary desktop computer now.

Thank you all, I'll ask him to check if this is the game he remembers so vaguely. :)
