Parsec - fixed broken Server_ID
-
If anyony used streaming games or emulators (CEMU, Dolphin, RPSC3,.....) from PC to Raspberry Pi (connected to the TV) ... Parsec is the simplest and fastest solution :) Y
If anyone is following the directions of install instructions found on https://github.com/Kozova1/Parsec-Integration-With-RetroPie, he will get stucked when launchin Parsec from Retropie because of the
broken Server_ID.Instructions for Retropie:
Install parsec as instructed on this page . Then ssh to your Raspberry PI and find the shortcut (or the script) where you run parsec.
My runnable configurations shortcut (script) is found in ~/RetroPie/roms/ports/Parsec.shEdit the file (nano) and clear all the text (it was like parsec server_id=123456789). Then enter the folowing text:
printf '%s\n%s\n' y 1 | parsec
save the file.
Now you dont need an Server_ID. If you u have multiple parsec servers running just change the number. For example "printf '%s\n%s\n' y 2 | parsec" where the number represents the server you wish to connect.
As simple as that :)
Happy streaming!
