Hello everyone. Just thought I'd let you know this. This may effect those of you who scrape roms and other images from tgdb. Hopefully it will return soon. Check it out: https://thegamesdb.net/

Thx for the confirmation - 'twas on saturday morning to midday (GMT+1 Here) that I tried to scrape some roms for an evening party-event without any luck... Browser&PC also failed & I wanted to dig into the problem in the upcoming week -> You are sparing me some time here [ :yeehaa!: ; still :( ]

It's back online, I'm scraping from it right now.

No, I am not. Sorry, it's too early in the morning where I am to make such announcements. But they have an explanation on their website now. Their provider unplugged them. :(

Update for anyone looking for an update on this (like me):

The site is online, but the API the scraper uses needs to change, apparently. They added a /v1/ prefix that I think breaks our scraper?

@maserspark Thanks for the hint. I reported this in the Skyscraper thread.

Thanks for the heads up guys. As I read it, it is only the old v1 API that's up again (or maybe just an earlier revision of the new API, it doesn't say).

I've created a pull request for this on the EmulationStation repo -- https://github.com/RetroPie/EmulationStation/pull/630
