Hello everyone. I have a question and do not know if there is an answer or maybe cannot be done.

I have a LCD marquee project I have been working on based on code that Texacate created (Information on his code is the thread: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/21464/show-control-panel-layout-before-game-starts-in-retropie-just-like-arcade1up-does/77?_=1579911011155)

Basically, have the LCD marquee on a second PI and when a game is started on Retropie, sends a command to the second Pi to display the image on that LCD monitor.

I was trying to change the image when you browse to a game. So when you are looking through the games, it would change on the
      2nd Pi.

From what I can tell, would have to do this on the source code of EmulationStation...my question is where in that code would I have to start in? I have been looking through it, but cannot determine where it triggers the change.

Is this even possible to do or am I looking in the wrong place? Or is doing this even allowed on the code? Any guidence would be appriciated.

Here is where it is handled specifically for Detailed View. You would need to add/modify the CursorChangeCallback for all of the views (basic, detailed, video, grid) that you intend to use.

Get latest build of EmulationStation for Windows here

@jdrassa Thank you. I do not think would have found that myself.
