Ability to set up usb storage individually per core

If this can be done, I haven’t found it yet. It would be very useful to be able to set individual cores/systems to read off of a usb device, rather than have all rom run off of USB. For example, if I wanted to have a section of psx games that ran off of a usb drive, but the rest run off the sd card. Is this possible?

Yes.
Usb drives auto mount, so you coukd copy the directory to the usb drive, and then rename the one on the sd card as a precaution, and then make a symbolic link with the same name that points to the usb drive. -
