        I love this theme, thanks!

Maybe it's just me but it crashes ES immediately on 4.6 on a Pi 4. Can't seem to find any logs so if anyone can point me in the right direction here it would be appreciated.

Also, is there a way to remove the pictures of the actual systems? :)

EmulationStation logs are in \\retropie\configs\all\emulationstation - you can check there for errors.

            Logs are here: https://pastebin.com/9gWfm7hH

ES seems to be generally very sluggish (with Carbon) on Pi 4, which I didn't see on my Pi 3b+. Maybe something else is off... Clean install so shouldn't be anything affecting the perfomance either.

Edit: Seems the lag is related to the 4k output according to other threads, so not relevant here I guess.

@Stuffu On my Pi I have also to split memory up to 512mb and set vram to 150 mb

I can confirm that switching resolution to 1080p removes the issue and the theme works as intended, so if you have problems using it at all on a pi 4, it’s likely related to resolution set to 4K.

@Stuffu great to hear that the theme works fine @ 1080p.
Regarding the 4K resolution I need to say that I find it a bit extreme. Even though the Pi 4 is quite a bit more powerful that the previous Pis I have my doubts whether it can smoothly display everything. Keep in mind that as the theme was created at 1080, everything would need to be upscaled at real-time.
It might be better to leave it at 1080p and let your monitor/TV upscale the content as needed.

@chicuelo hey mate! Your theme is the best theme I ever tried on ES. I am prepping an old notebook for my nephew to let him play some older games but I think that the artworks for then systems might scare him.

Any chance to see a version with kid-friendly backgrounds? :)

Totally agree, but the Pi 4 defaults to 4k on my TV so that was the first experience and I didn't realise that the resolution was set to 4k until a bit later...

@cyperghost give me some time, I will se how many systems more I can add. Meanwhile you can add manually to avoid empty artwork!

Installed this awesome theme today. Have to say thank you for your work.

Just my thoughts on the indicators. Its a great idea. For me it would have been easier if there were files named 1 to 16 (like 1.png 2.png etc) and you have to rename them according to your order.

@AnalogHero Thanks! There was a folder with only 19 png files according with the dots, also the actual indicators folder to display something when you install, I will ask @nil06 to add it again so it´s easier to configure

Hey man, long time no speak! Maybe you remember me from when I helped out with the original theme :)

Hope you are good, i've been busy with other things in life but just spotted this thread and wanted to congratulate you and @nil06 on a really incredible looking theme.

I am still using the original which you unfortunately had to take down - but on my next OS/RetroPie Script update, I might move over to this new one as I am really liking the darker colours and artwork.

One question - I noticed the ZX Spectrum poster art is the same as PC Engine/TG-16 (Castlevania) - will ZX Spectrum eventually get it's own artwork?

                                            Thanks!
