I recently had a PiTopCeed unit that got retired so I have started to convert it into a RetroPie Console. The plan is to add internal speakers run from a I2S soundcard and is running on a Pi3. So far I have 3D printed a new front panel to house the speakers which are currently being run from a USB soundcard with a 3W amplifier. I have on order the soundcard and a fan cooler for the Pi. Needed to add in more cooling from the little aluminium heatsink as the Pi will hit 80C in demanding games!

      Build so far:

The fansink turned up yesterday and installed. I had to modify the right half of the cover to include a fan grill so it can pull fresh air in.

Running Yoshi's Island would make the Pi easily hit 80C with the small heatsink, now with the fan running at 3.3V it only hits about 60-61C

Now just waiting on the DAC to finish it all off!
