      Hi!
I'm building a cabinet where I will have probably 10 to 20 games max running, probably all using MAME emulator. I was wondering if there was a theme only displaying the games as grid on top, without any sorting by emulator, or eventually if there was a theme sorting them by shoot-em-up, fighting, platformer and the likes? Not even sure I want the 'setup' section showing up.

Building a theme by one-self seems a tremendous work (at least from where I'm standing) so my idea was to eventually take something close, remove games/categories but I'm failing to see how I can get a 4x3 or 4x4 grid.

Thank you for your lights in the matter.

      Fred

You can try a theme that has grid view support, like nintendo-3ds, or a simple CRT theme like CRT (which I don't think it features grid view support).

theme sorting them by shoot-em-up, fighting, platformer and the likes?

        A theme doesn't dictate sorting.

Not even sure I want the 'setup' section showing up.

You can use the Kid Mode UI for EmulationStation to hide it and show only the arcade system with the games.

Thanks a lot for replying all my posts ;-) (I figured out how to receive email notifications...)

I guess I need to try and probably fine tune them then.
          Thank you.
