How many time have you completed your favorite games?

Of your favorite games that are not infinite, how many times have you completed them?

Here are some of mine:

Star Ocean 3: Until The End of Time - 4 completions.
Dark Cloud 1 - 4 completions
Dark Cloud 2 - 3 completions
StarCraft Broodwar - 4 completions
Final Fantansy XII - 3 completions
Final Fantasy 3/6 - 3 completions

There are many I have finished twice, but these are my most obsessive...

I haven't finished any arcade or console games multiple times (yet), but as for PC games, I did three complete playthroughs of System Shock 2 (two in 2P co-op, one alone).

As a honorary mention, it took me three attempts to finish Arx Fatalis, whereby the first two got me nearly 80-90% through, but after pausing for too long for no particular reasons, I didn't remember enough of the plot objectives to complete the rest, forcing me to start anew the next time. In return, I finished its open source port Arx Libertatis a second time last year.

Have you been able to compile Arx Libertatis on the Pi? I tried and failed, but might take another crack at it.

@VictimRLSH Sorry, I played it on my PC with Kubuntu 18.04.

EarthBound: I'm either on my fourth or fifth (sixth?) play through at the moment.
Halo: I have absolutely no idea how many times I've played through this both solo and co-op.
Lost Odyssey: I've never actually finished this. I have to different play-throughs that I could walk into the final boss fight but I don't because there's this one optional boss that I just can't seem to beat.
Skyrim: Twice with almost 100% quest completion (I've never gotten all of the Stones of Barenziah). Could be a higher number but the last couple times I've started it I've ended up with game-breaking glitches.

I don't know if I would call it a favorite yet but I played through DOOM: Eternal four or five times and enjoyed the heck out of that but it hasn't been with as long as others.

@simpleethat I intentionally omitted DOOM I+II on the PC, because I didn't know if "countless times" would be a valid answer for the thread's question. 😉

There are some arcade games I've completed countless times on one credit, but did not list those. That might be a subject for another thread.

I left out games I've beaten a lot because I don't necessarily count them as favorites (Contra comes to mind) but Halo is one of my favorites.

Games you've beaten the most times is certainly a different topic.

Oh, and good old DOOM. :-)

System Shock I: 3x but there will be a fourth time once the remake is out :D
Limbo: 3-4x (The atmosphere of fear and loneliness is just perfecly done! Inside was almost as good!)
Xenogears: 2x (With 80h - 100h it's just too much for me... But I want to try the german translation for a third playthrough though.)
Resident Evil (with psx directors cut and gc remake): >4x

It's interesting to note that now, with limited playtime due to work and kids, I tend to go back to those games even if there are so many new and excellent games. The Backlog is ever growing...

Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 (gb) : 10+ completions.
Final Fantasy VI (snes) : 4+ completions thanks to rom hacking community.
The Revenge of Shinobi (gen) : 5+ completions
Silent Hill (psx) : 5+ completions.
Half Life 2 (pc) : 10+ completions.
