Just a big thanks

I've been around this community for a few years and it started with a curiosity about retro gaming. In my youth (more than a few years back) I had an Amiga, C64 and Sega Megadrive before going full out on PC and modern consoles.
Gaming has always been a part of my life. To relax and think about something else, gaming is my way of relaxing. If I watch a movie, my thoughts begin to wander and I loose focus, but gaming is different, you have to focus to be able to play.
A few years ago I decided to check out my old favourite games and found a lot more than that. Arcade, "new" consoles, rare consoles, reading into other members projects and off course a lot of tinkering. Getting the metadata right and set everything up they way I wanted. There is always something to do on my RetroPie. I discovered a new hobby that I invested way too many hours into, and it's totally worth every hour :)
I have some experience from linux but not enough to handle all the issues I bump into along the way and couldn't find an answer to. With the support from here I have been able to sort out the problems along the way, as well as learning a bit more linux.
I really enjoy trying out games from time to time and figuring out new things to try on my retropie. Some games gets a bit more love than others but I enjoy testing out both classic/rare games that I have missed as well as revisiting old memories. Hello Sierra and Lucasart games! :)
All this wouldn't be possible without this community and the RetroPie project, so a really big thanks! I know that there are many people behind this but I want to give a special thanks to @mitu who has helped me out numerous times. I don't know how you endure the endless stream of questions and how you find the find the time to dig into the various issues, but for me you have been a saviour!
Thanks again and see you around

Man I feel like I wrote that post... I still have my c64 and my sega genesis (with the ea 4 play) all still work great to this day but it's a lot easier using the PI ;) Love seeing the old c64 games with the intro's that teams would make, and the battles they had against each other. Eaglesoft was always the best though....

@stoney66 Personally I kind of miss my amiga rather than the c64. Considered buying an old A500 but then again I probably wouldn’t use it much... mostly nostalgia and if you start with one thing, you would want the next one...

I've got to agree with @Stuffu. Pretty much everybody on this forum is super helpful whenever they can be. I see very few problems go unsolved.
Cheers to all the moderators and thanks for all your work. You're unsung heroes helping me (and probably a lot of us) keep our sanity through retro gaming and way too much tinkering.
Party on, dudes! (and dudettes and anybody else that doesn't include).
