Friends of mine currently develop this awesome 16-bit platformer and it would be great if you would support them.

FOX n FORESTS is a 2D 16-Bit style action platformer with adventure and puzzle elements! Set within a mystic forest and its surroundings, FOX n FORESTS is a stunning fable offering pixel perfect Retrotainment and rewarding challenges!
The game is inspired by the glorious days of 16-Bit and all time classics like Super Ghouls ’n Ghosts, Wonder Boy in Monster World and ActRaiser 2 as well as the Castlevania and Zelda series.

Looks pretty cool but is this going to be ported over to the Raspberry Pi ARM processor so it will play natively in RetroPie?

Their first plan is to release on PC, Linux and Mac. The Game will be made with Unity so I think it's an Linux x86 build, but they have stretch goals for additional platforms as well.
