lrppsspp settings what do you use?

So, ive decided to have another go with psp and as the title says what settigs do you use?
I have my overclock and configuration sorted so it's just the settings within the in game menu that i need.

@cooky069 I'm able to get games like Mega man powered up, kingdom hearts, dynasty warriors, Monster hunter 2, and loco roco to run really well without frame skip, and minimal parts where it'll slow down in three specific ways.

I use ppsspp not lrppsspp because I have more options to mess with to get the game to perform
I use a sd card with at lead 80mb/s read/write, because with a slower card the games consistently hitch for 5-10 seconds every few minutes which sucks. I suggest a samsung evo plus card.
I found a huge performance boost when I had buffered rendering and set the res to psp, not x1 psp. It will be a psp res blown up to a big screen but the framerate is a lot better.

I need to look at my other settings tonight, because I know I did more, but those stick out in my memory as the biggest performance boosters.

i did try ppsspp before but had really bad luck with it . none of my control configs would work and it seemed very unstable , it would freeze and crash all the time . read speed is no problem as i run all my roms from a usb 3.0 stick and get maximum 2.0 speed from it . compared to my sd card its like racing a mini against an F1 car. I also didnt like having to use a keyboard to acces the menu all the time but i guess if my control config would work i could set up a hot key for it. lr ppsspp just seems alot simpler to get along with , i may give it another try and see

Are you using a ps3 controller with the pi3's onboard bluetooth? I had the exact same crashing problem, so I just plug in a PS4 controller and it's very stable now. I also set it up that the PS button opens the emulator menu and I can start and exit games with just the controller. I believe i set it to the exit button in the settings.

PPSSPP does require a lot of work, but once you get through all the bs I found that more games just run better.

I was using a tonsmart g01 in xbox mode and a nes30 pro via the on board bluetooth . This was back on rp 3.6 when I first got my pi3, so maybe as there's been quite a few updates since I will have better luck this time. I'm going to give ppsspp another go I think , although I am getting fairly good results with lr ppsspp so far. I can see it's going to be a similar case as n64 with different settings/emu for each game to get best results
