Re: [Request] PDF reader for game manuals

I would like to bring this up again as I too have a ton of game manuals I would love to access in game or at the very least from the menus. Has there been any progress on a simple picture viewer that can be installed?

Obviously there are ways to display pictures like on the screensaver but I would like to have control over what picture I am viewing. My RetroPie setup is becoming more of a video game museum and I would like to have even a simple menu in Emulation Station or better yet Retroarch to select a specific picture (for example, the manuals) to view in full screen. A zoom in feature would be cool, but just an extremely basic “slideshow” where I could select pictures in order back and forth with no timer (not random like the screensaver). I remember doing exactly this on the Dreamcast several years ago.

Anyone have any ideas or workarounds with existing options?

I too would love to be able to open a manual or map from the Quick Menu in RetroArch. That's where this feature seems appropriate, not EmulationStation.

@kelvinator3300 I found this but the links are broken. This is exactly what we want. We should definitely look into this amazing tool!
