Consider XU4 Development
-
Before everyone shoots down this suggestion, I'd like to explain my reasoning. Some of the visitors to the site wish to emulate PSP. The RPI 3 still doesn't have the power to quite pull this off at a playable speed. I've tried Lakka and the Odroid XU4 does have the power to emulate, but lacks some features of RetroPie like easy customization and the ability to use the PPSSPP native emulator.
I personally own both devices (RPI3 and XU4) and be more than willing to assist the developers in testing the port and I'm sure others would assist too.

Supporting the various versions of the Pi is more than enough work for this small dev team already. Even if they wanted to support it more than they already have, it would just slow down development for a tiny few amount of users.
If you want it, you're probably going to have to work on it yourself.

Thanks for the reply. I am grateful for the hard work that had been done. It's been nice to see theses old systems relived.

I own a RPI2 with Retropie, but I also own a XU4 which I use exclusively now, since it's way more powerful.
Did you try OGST on your XU4?
http://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?f=98&t=7322It has more or less the same features as Retropie in a different way. It is supported by just one person (meveric), but he is extremely active, answers all the questions and updates the cores and his system all the time, he also compiles tones of ports that you can install very easily. You can find his ports along with any tutorials to install games and emulators here:

OGST is easy to update and you can install new features or ports directly from the meveric's repository, it's very simple.The only problem the people have with the latest Kernel on the XU4 (and it's with all Linux images), it's that you have an ugly tearing on the 2D games due to a problem with the Mali drivers, it's particularly disturbing with the 2D scrolling games (e.g. Sonic), it's just horrible!!! BUT, I recently found a workaround for this issue and if you feel comfortable with scripting and customizing your system, you can avoid this problem.
I currently have a system perfectly stable and very powerful with my XU4 using OGST, and all the important emulators are installed by default (PPSSPP standalone, Mupen64 Standalone & Libretro, reicast, openBOR, and all the basic libretro cores for Atari, nes, snes, master system, genesis, 32x/CD, psx etc...).
For the XU4, I think the only solutions available are Lakka, ORGA or OGST (unless I forgot something), but after testing them all, I went for OGST.
I wish we had an updated version of Retropie on the XU4, but let's face the truth, it won't happen any-time soon for obvious reasons, so you need to find other solutions ;) It requires a little bit of technical knowledge but I guess it's not a problem for you, otherwise you wouldn't have bought an Odroid board, but once you have everything all set, it really worth it. :)For my workaround, you can follow my tutorial at the end of this topic:
http://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?f=99&t=16362&start=150
I'm still waiting for feedbacks for this workaround, it seems people don't mind playing with tearing... But it works great on my system anyway. -
@jackbrook1
OGST is built on jessy. it is a old os. OGST is still good just old
there is also ARES. it is more current then OGST.
