      I had an issue earlier where the question of how many systems I was running came up. It was implied that the number was high, but I really just made sure all the default systems and ports worked when I first set up RetroPie rather than hide them. I've never really considered what an average number of functional systems is for most RetroPie users, but now I'm curious. So, I put the question forward to you fine people; how many systems and ports do you currently have in full operation with at least one playable game? A number will do, or name them specifically if you like.

      Myself, I have 35 systems and 7 Ports

      Systems:

      Amiga
      Apple II
      Atari 2600
      Atari 5200 and 8 bit series

      Atari Lynx
      Atari ST/STE/TT/Falcon

            I've reduced my Pi's load to what I will actually play. Got rid of all the junk I had "just to have it." So I have 22 systems, and the ports section. Ports is a single menu, so there's no sense counting all the games, individually.

              Considering that you only run your absolute favorites, that's still a fair amount of systems.

                I only play: NES, SNES, SEGA GENESIS, PSX, MAME and NEO-GEO. The only port I need i Kodi.

                  @mediamogul What Pi and version of Pie were you running with all those systems? I have tried to run that many, but it seems to freeze on me when I go into the menu's lately even at 25 systems. I think it might be more PSU, because that is the only thing that is not at the recommended 2.5A. I'm at 2.1A, but I tried my SD card on my Pi 2, and it still did the same thing, and I thought the Pi 2 didn't need a 2.5A PSU.

                    @Dominus the theme makes the difference. If you use the carbon theme and delete the controller.cfg out of all the systems you can add all the systems you want.

                      @Dominus

                      I'm running the stock Carbon theme on mine. The only thing I notice is that I dip about 4-8 fps while in Emulation Station unless I disable the 'Onscreen Help'. Everything runs fine for me while running the emulators though.

                      @edmaul69 Out of your 60 emulators, how many are MESS?
