      That Volumio looks AMAZING!

Would be ideal if we could get it to launch on boot and quit back to ES (this would make it DEAL for cantina entertainment).

I got myself a cheap DAC off ebay to see how good it can be. I'll let you know when it arrives

@Ekstreme Please do, I was looking at those DACS myself the other day. I may get the one with the RCA outs.

I finally had time to try this out. WOW even with the 3.5mm audio jack it's a damn good application. Can't wait for my DAC to arrive now so my pi B+ can come alive again!

@Ekstreme Wow! So just using the jack is better? Great news, I'm going to be building a bartop for this pi3 I got and am going to use a VGA monitor with a HDMI to VGA converter. This is why I need to use that 3.5mm jack cause I know that converter loses the HDMI audio. Good news!

I'm not sure about better. I don't have my DAC module to compare against yet. It does work through the 3.5mm jack perfectly well though.

@plasmah77 Hey mate. Finally got time to try it out tonight. Putting it simply, I would not build an amplified system without a DAC. Sounds great!!
I did have to change /boot/config.txt to dtparam=audio=off to get it to output properly though. Keep in mind, this is Volumio
