I took a lot of inspiration from a few guides and created this PiStation, with fully functional LED, power button and controller ports. It includes a few differences from those projects including a 1tb USB disk drive in the cd compartment, a switchable USB hub to disable the front controllers (when I feel like using the Bluetooth controllers), and case mod for a fan.

In the end I couldn't find a micro USB patch cable that provided enough juice, so I had to go directly to the mausberry. Also need to have the USB hub plugged in to avoid low power issues. Hope to find a solution in the future the provides one external plug for the hub and the Mausberry. Something for another day!

I like the added fan on the top! Cool build!
Do the controller ports in the front work?

@backstander thanks! Yup, both the controller ports work. The switchable USB hub helps with the issue where retropie assigns the controllers as always connected. I leave it off, for my Bluetooth gampads and enable when I want it wired. Wanted to get a fan in there since the pi is overclocked.
