Hi, I am trying to find Chopper like game I used to play 20 years ago. It looks exactly like this https://media.pocketgamer.com/artwork/na-glir/chopper_i1.jpg but it was from jungle (not from desert).
I spent many years searching on google or youtube and I found only this picture https://www.arcade-museum.com/images/106/1064480547.jpg :((.
Thanks very much anybody who can help!

Skimmed list of arcade vertical shooters with a chopper and early jungle or jungle-like theme...

There are WAY more with planes, spacecraft and dragons, but these are the ones I spotted with a chopper:

I may have missed some, but if it isn't any of these, perhaps it wasn't a helicopter/chopper game?

Thank you, nice collection but any of these is what I am looking for :(.
It was exactly Chopper I but from jungle. It was the same game.

. The same music, the same style but from jungle. I am not mistaken. I see it like it was yesterday.
This is ridiculous. I lived in some parallel universe back then or what :)

There are four (4) versions of Chopper I. MAME calls the ROMsets:

                    CHOPPER.ZIP (US Ver 2))
                    CHOPPERA.ZIP (US Ver 1?)
                    CHOPPERB.ZIP (US)
                    LEGOFAIR (Japan)

Let me look into A, B and LEGOFAIR and see if any are Jungle themed.

Chopper does have a jungle stage, you can check it in a playthrough

...and I checked the other variations. None start with the jungle stage. Just in case, I tried changing the "Difficulty" DIP switch, but it doesn't affect which level loads first.

While I can't find anything any port of Chopper I or anything with exact UI or music, maybe check Sky Adventure or Sky Soldiers.

Sky Adventure starts with a jungle theme... but not with a helicopter.

Neither are helicopters, but they're both vertical shooters from SNK (like Chopper I). Best I can think of right now.

It must be Chopper II or Chopper I v.2 or something like this. I never saw it in any library on internet. I saw it only with my own eyes between Dragon Dragon a KungFu Master coin machines.

@sirren with you. One thing for certain, it should have come from SNK. Might help you on your continued search. Cheers!
