Customizable, noob friendly theme for ES, no .xml editing (updated)
-
Hi all, this page will be for my customizable theme for new users.
It allows you to place images in multiple locations on the system menu by simply dropping the image in to the systems folder and giving it the correct name, NO .xml edits are required.
Image positions are represented by numbers in the file name, 1 is top left > 5 is top right and 6 is bottom left > 10 is bottom right (with the exception of
data
that runs 1 to 6).Just drop your image in the folder of the system you want to theme, give it the right name and a number for its location. The image will be automatically resized to fit the position, easy :)
Here is a list of all positions and category’s:
Background: bg.png
Logos: Top left = logo1.png
Top centre left = logo2.png
Top centre = logo3.png
Top centre right = logo4.png
Top right = logo5.png
Bottom left = logo6.png
Bottom centre left = logo7.png
Bottom centre = logo8.png
Bottom centre right = logo9.png
Bottom right = logo10.pngSystem Images: Numbering is the same as logos but name is system: system1.png system2.png etc...
Screenshots: Numbering is the same but only 1 to 5 is available right now: sc1.png sc2.png etc...
Console Information: Top left = data1.png
Top centre = data2.png
Top right = data3.png
Bottom left = data4.png
Bottom centre = data5.png
Bottom right = data6.pngThere is a folder called "Assets" in the theme folder, this contains some assets to make a master system theme, more assets will be added but for now, you will need to source them yourself.
The theme supports many, many systems (same as eudora theme) and starts blank, with only the logos on the white bar placed.
I hope (with some more development) this will allow even those who can't program to easily create themes for ES :)
Try it out and give my some feedback and suggestions, I would love to see your themes made with this, I will add a few screen shots later when I get time to knock up some themes :)
