Just got my PowerBlock in the mail. Powers on no problem, but I'm getting that non-stop pulsing led. The button does not initiate a shutdown either. I've tried drivers from the Retropie setup menu, as well as the hub. Its a brand new pi with all official stuff. Its literally just a pi and a Powerblock. Nothing else is hooked up. Clearly the drivers arent communicating properly. Seems like I'm far from the only one with this issue. As a last resort, I tried a fresh image.. same results. Any advice would be great!

Not sure if this helps at all.. but in order to shutdown the system, either through ES menu or the terminal. Once the pi is shut off, the button led still pulses and leaves the pi in standby. Isn't the Powerblock supposed to cut all power? Is this a driver issue? I've installed and reinstalled them so many times. Is the board faulty? I somehow doubt it.

@Chef-Otis Hi! If you tell me the RetroPie and/or Raspbian version and the RPi model that you are using could prepare an image for you to download. In this way we could rule out that it is a software issue.
In case of a faulty PowerBlock I am happy to send you a replacement, of course.

I have just updated the driver. It comes with better checks for GPIO tools now and should restore compatibility to previous RPi models.
