@TPR if it's not broken don't fix it. So no don't do anything to yours
-
@TPR no I have not even looked into it. But since you have. We can give it a shot

lr-wasm4
- [Y] -
lr-wasm4
- low-level fantasy game console - works on the Pi5, (have not tested on pi4 yet

It downloads the same file again and again.
When you first run it or when you run it again after you have it installed
Whenever you run the gmloader scriptmodule (configure) again.
-
@Lolonois ok, thats a easy fix, we just need to add a
if
function.
that can be done once we get the Pi5 version up and going -

https://forum.armbian.com/topic/28345-aethersx2-opengl-is-not-supported-only-opengl-30-was-found/
i was able to install this, but when i change it to OpenGL a error pops up saying cant run, only opengl3.1 is found. so im not sure what it should do if anything on what we run
as far as i know "libgl4es" is for openGL and will have nothing to do with the software driver
-
@ExarKunIv That's the same error I get. It's weird that you can switch to the software rendered when inside of a game but you can't load a game using the software renderer.
-
@TPR yes and no.
This emulator was not built for the pi. It just happens to work on it. So somethings things just didn't play nice as it would on the platform it was designed for -

So somethings things just didn't play nice as it would on the platform it was designed forTo be honest, that's kind of what I figured. But I'd also throw it out there to see if anyone was able to find a hack or workaround to make that work. I have exhausted all of my efforts and I appreciate anyone else that tried.
Switching in game isn't a huge deal, you just have to keep track of which ones run under software and which ones under hardware.
-
@TPR it's possible as more people use it and more time passes someone will figure out how to have per game settings

https://github.com/openblack/openblack
Apparently builds on arm64 so might be worth a try
-
@retropieuser555 cool. it should be something that might be easy to make work

Hi @ExarKunIv
I use a touchscreen with my Pi5 and for some emulator (like Aethersx2) , it works well. With lr-Melonds, when I go in core option/Screen/Touch mode , I select Touch, but it doesn't seems to work.
Do I have to do something else?
-
@DTEAM i dont know, i didn't make this or even know about it. also i don't have touchscreen.
cant help there.does the touchscreen work in any of the other lr cores. or in lr-Melond?
-
It works !! You can add Touchscreen supported ! I did a stupid mistake, I re-intalled lr-melonds and not lr-melondsds. The "auto" mode in core options/screen/touch mode is just fantastic!
-
@DTEAM it's also worth noting melondsds is maintained whereas it seems melonds last had an update a year ago or more. So if you find bugs can always open an issue in GitHub for the dev of melondsds
