That´s pretty much what I needed, thx a lot!!!! :D

Edit: I've been taking a look to that web, and while snes and most consoles have a lot of resources, it's not like that with cpc and zx spectrum.... :(

That's true, but it is way easier to just add the box textures there and get the 3D automatic generated than doing it on photoshop.

Yeah, thats true. I suppose that it wouldnt be so hard to make a script to automate it all, including photoshop actions, but my coding habilities are missing in action. I need help for this project, lets see if someone wants to lend a hand !!! :)

I still think it would be a better idea to add the media to that database yourself (and anyone else) and create a mix profil on the universal xml scraper to automatically create the images the way you want, so it stays there for anyone else that wants something different but still needs the media.

The main problem is the access to a big library of 8 bit computer case art, and while it'd be ideally better to focus our efforts on uploading them to a single place or web, I dont like too much to rely on an online tool for the 3d compositing, mainly because of the flexibility and independence given for an offline tool.
Maybe we can get the best of both worlds if we can work an script for this, using the template( we can even translate the template to gimp and use the command line to automate the process!!!!).

Well, after seeing what the author of the scraping tool wrote on your original post, it appears that your concerns are away :)

I will create an account and start adding media from time to time to contribute somehow. No coding skills at all on my side ;)

I have found the screenscraper site to be extremely slow and sometimes unavailable. Lots of 504 Gateway Time Out errors.

Sorry for the problem you can have with UXS and Screenscraper.
For the new year we are migrating server to a new big one.
In the main time, we are migrating screenscraper database to V2. So lot's of new things are coming.
Thank you to be patient, it's a matter of day (hour ?)...

@screech no worries! I can wait. There are plenty of games to hold me off until then. Cheers
