PCSX2 on RetroPie x64 build?

May be a stupid question,but seeing as there's a Linux build for this emulator, could this theoretically be added to RetroPie (like Dolphin has been)?

PCSX2 could be easily added. There seems to be a package under ubuntu 16.04. I had no time to take a look.
