I'm getting really crazy with these Altoids.

@thedudester80 Thanks for the encouragement as well as the links. I'd seen wermy's stuff, and I was aware of the PiGRRLs, but Love Hultén's stuff is new to me and is absolutely gorgeous.

@obsidianspider He makes really great stuff. Glad you liked them. I just took photos of the inside and will upload them when I get home after work tonight.

@obsidianspider The inside.... If you have questions let me know. Im not the best photographer and I know its a mess in there lol.

@thedudester80 thanks!

@thedudester80 I bet thats one of those projects that you built up slowly wire by wire, and now you step back you just think 'woah thats a lot of wires!'
You have inspired me to go minimal and small for my next project ;)
-
@moosepr I wish you the best of luck and can't wait to see what you come up with. All I can say is go slow and if things aren't going well just take a day off from it and come back. I had to convince myself I needed to take a break, and if I didn't do that my girlfriend would set me straight. Every good man needs a good woman or man depending on your preference just saying. =] If you need any help or have any questions you know Ill always be here to answer the best I can. Really excited to see what you make and if I get the funds and time I'm really excited to reveal my new project. ; ]

@obsidianspider I'm not running a tft I'm using a composite display.
What screen are you using?
-
@obsidianspider You have to mod it to run on 5v. But its a great size screen for small projects.

@thedudester80 What did you have to do to get this to run on 5V? I've seen on some websites that you can just connect it up to 5V and it will work fine. I may or may not have bought something on eBay last night where I'll probably end up using one of these.

@obsidianspider I would follow this tutorial. It is basically the same thing that I did. The screens mother board is just a tad bit different looking but the idea is the same. I took off the converter chip and wired up ground and power directly to the ground and input to the mother board..... If that makes sense??? If this does not help Ill send you a picture of how its wired up. =]
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
