@quicksilver You should be able to find it somewhere. If you live in the Netherlands I could send you my disc (dont need it anymore)..otherwise postage would be expensive.

@bobharris im sure I can locate a copy. I'm in the US so you probably wouldn't want to send me yours. Thanks for the offer though!

@quicksilver I just looked it up and it's not too expensive, so let me know if you can't find it.

@bobharris I was able to locate a bin/cue image of the game. It doesn't look like the install through windows 3.1 is any different than straight through dos. Some games have a different install process through windows and use higher quality audio/video etc. Timeshock it seems to be the same. The slight jitter with the ball is still present unfortunately.

Here they are talking about how a certain windows patch removes the jitter. But I've only read about patch 1.20b, I've never seen it.

@bobharris I found a source for the patch, I will try it out and see what happens. Though it looks like it might be a patch for Windows XP?

Edit: I tested the patch and it appears to not work at all through windows3.1

@quicksilver Ah too bad. Well at least we know a bit more now. What helped for me was setting the tv brightness a bit lower. It made the judder a lot less noticable.

I found the fix for sfx in an earlier post: soundaster irq has to be set to 5 not 7

@rsn8887 did you try this out? On the pi soundblaster uses irq 7. You would have to change it to irq=5 in the dosbox-SVN.conf to use irq 5 and i dont see that doing anything different.
