How to Scrap 8bit micros games?

MAME and consoles releases are straightforward to be scrapped. Either the CRC or the Names or DATs exist and make life easier.
C64 has GameBase and someone has posted in here how to create scrap data based on that. It came out nice.
What about Spectrum and Amstrad? Thousands of releases, no CRCs to depend on, and no live database to help (is WOS database an option?).
Any ideas how to scrap Spectrum, Amstrad etc games? Using the internal scrapper with User Decide option needs 2 human lifes to be completed and with very low results.
