Hello, I tested retro pi on a raspberry pi 1 and I'm amazed of the good performance for the 8 bits machines, however the performance on 16 bits machines is as I expected very poor.

I'm considering to buy a raspberry pi 3 or a FPGA board, could anyone advice me and inform me about the performance of 16 bits emulation on pi 3?

      Thanks in advance!

@xpheres Just watch You Tube, there are hundreds of videos on this topic. I have played loads of Amiga games and they all work perfectly. E.g Cannon Fodder, Turrican 2, SWOS.....

I also have many Amiga titles installed and they work swimmingly on the Pi3. The same can be said for every 16-bit title I've personally tried; including the SuperFX games for the SNES.
