Can somebody kindly share with me config text files with mapped joypad buttons for me to take a look at ?
EDIT:
I switched to xash3d-fwgs and everything works nowI am running xash3d-fwgs and im not able to even use my game pad controller in game, it only recognized mouse and keyboard? how did were you able to map a controller?

Sorry to bring this up again, but I tried everything and I still can't get my XBOX 360 controller to work. The look up/down on the right analog stick let me turn left and right as already described here. But all changes on the Axis in the config is not doing anything. Any ideas?

@karl0001 I got the solution myself. The issue was the xpad driver installed by Retropie. Once I uninstalled it everything works. Have a look here: https://github.com/Fredrum/chiaki/issues/14
