PSP system for NBBA theme
-
Thank You!! can you explain me how did you make it? i´m trying to make one for msx.
-
@MrTomixf the simplest way is to just copy one of the existing folders (eg "nes"), and rename it "msx". Then find (or create) the right images (system logo, background image) to replace the nes ones.
-
@mattrixk ok, I´ll try, thank you

@mattrixk
this is not work for me, because i do that but ES, when i add a 2nd system copying from another folder under the right path, and changing the right images, shows the 2nd one but not the 1st (that display only a logo image and white background so no gc.png and no bg.jpg are displayed)...RPI3 - RetroPie 4.1

Sorry @Lele, without seeing the file structure and xml code there isn't really much I can do to help. You could put the xml into a pastebin or similar, or upload the whole theme to megaupload or dropbox and tell me exactly which folder you are having trouble with.
-
thank 4oyur fast reply, so that's it
@mattrixk
EDIT:
if i add only one there is no problem all is displayed as well...EDIT II:
adding more other system with same way, the problem grows up... -
@Lele I'm not seeing anything that would cause problems... What exactly is happening? You said you copied an existing folder, then renamed it to the new system and updated the images. eg:
- copy "nes" folder (I'm just using NES as an example)
- rename "nes" to "zmachine"
- change logo.svg, bg.png and gc.png to be ZMachine images
This ends with both "nes" and "zmachine" working correctly. Is this right so far?
Then you tried doing the same thing for another system, eg:
- copy "nes" folder
- rename "nes" to "ngpc"
- change logo.svg, bg.png and gc.png to be NeoGeo Pocket Color images
But now one of them has stopped working? Is it the new one you just created, or the old one you copied?
If it's the new one, it's possible you just named the folder wrong, or maybe your es_systems.cfg doesn't have anything listed for the system you are trying to use. Again, without seeing the whole theme and without knowing exactly what you've already tried, I'm not sure how much help I'll be.
-
yes, but in the first part i try only with one system and all goes ok.
when i add a 2nd the problem starts, what happen is that the previuos added system doesn't display bg and cg images.
if i add another system more of other installed (and working good) system theme do the same...
Folder names are ok as the es.systems....i've tried same way in another sd but all goes ok...so i don't understand what and why....i'll investigate...
by the way, i want to thank you, i appreciate your support so take the whole theme hereother sys themes are the same but with different images...
thank you another time!
Lele.

No worries @Lele. It's late here so I'm off to bed. I'll have a look at it tomorrow and see if I can spot what's going on.
