      Hi

I want to add a fan next to the Powerblock. I have a 5v fan but since the Powerblock is using up the 5v pin can i connect the fan to the 3.3v? It will run slower but i want to know if this can cause problems to the pi?

      Kind regards

      Kevin

        Hi,

You can solder 2 male pins on the powerblock, it's indicated 5V OUT on the board. Then you can connect your fan to these pins.

@Philoup there is already a usb soldered on. I just want to know if connecting it to the 3.3v would result in giving any problems to the pi?

@kverreth I'm not talking about the USB.
Look at the image. The 2 little holes on the right, stamped 5V OUT. Solder 2 male pins there and you'll have your 5V power supply.
