      Hey, i previously could only use my ds4 controller through bluetooth usng ds4drv (which sucks back at least 60% of my cpu power on PI3). The I installed rpi-update abd updated my pi3 to the latest firmware. Now this updated the kernel to include recent changes that fixed the issues with newer Dual Shock ps4 controllers.

      $ sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install rpi-update
      $ sudo BRANCH=next rpi-update
      

      doesn't seem to have broken anything else, i've been playing with it for a while now...

        @gomisensei This is great news! I tried to find any reference to this on the official Raspberry pi github but could not find any information about this. But then again i could have missed it.
