@TMNTturtlguy I think I like the idea of keeping the comic style with an outrageous color. But if it's easy enough make both... then whatever you like better.
That makes sense now with the pixels... Yeah I like the crisp white too. I guess if you were really stuck you could but controller on a subdued comic background... as long as it doesn't get too busy... I'm happy either way.

@modmaster What do you think about this? I had to drop the 3rd and 4th layers of the comic style so it is just 2 colors, otherwise it gets to busy and the HACKS does not stand out. The opacity gets weird with the pixel on the green letters and the pixels below, even at like 95% it is still muddy, so i went with out opacity. I can make Hacks smaller, so we can still read the full name as well. I am really open to suggestions as this is a cool idea so just let me know what you think or what else we should try.

@TMNTturtlguy That looks awesome. so you can't hacks slightly transparent? Maybe a little smaller... lower maybe. To be honest I think it looks awesome but you do lose the system name a bit... maybe using my png would help that. man too many options lol... What if you make hacks its own pic, export as a png, then import it to the GBA file. Would you be able to make it transparent as a png?

Not really sure what I missed, but the theme is not working for me (all white, just like if the theme didn't exist at all). I did git clone in the /etc/emulationstation/themes folder, right next to all my other themes. see picture:

@felleg first guess is you downloaded version 2 which requires you to have the most up to date version of emulationstation. Either update emulationstation or download version 2 wich will work for older versions of ES.

@TMNTturtlguy if you can move it down a bit I say none. Seeing the inner lines of "boy" letters will help define it a bit I think.
