Transitions

Sorry for reposting, I removed it from the Theming sub forum, as it's probably better suited for in here.

So what I'm wondering if it's possible, or if anyone has looked into adjusting the transitions. I know they would need to be altered in the source code, and I have no C++ knowledge. I've dealt with coding before, so I figured I could possibly find something that might point me in the right direction, however it didn't seem to help much.

I've searched around in the source code to find "slide" or "fade" and then tried to read through the bits of code to see if there are any values that say it's going to fade to black, or slide to the right or left. Again I have never done any C++ coding, so I'm probably lost in there, just hoping it's something other people may be interested in and able to adjust.

The main things I'd be personally would like to see:

Change the fade so it just fades into the next image, and not to black first

Disable the transition all together so it uses the same static image without fading or sliding

Adjust the slide to go vertical, rather than horizontal for vertical menu scrolling

Change the colour of the transition from black to white, or preferably choose any colour
