      HDMI on raspberry pi not showing up on tv. Ive tried other HDMI cables with no luck. Anybody else have this issue and if so, what can i do to solve this??

        @rufus377 stupid question but is your TV on the right input?

            @herb_fargus yes sir. Ive tried all 3 hdmi ports. Ive reversed multiple hdmi cords..im stumped.

                @rufus377 As @herb_fargus asked ..check on your remote for your tv..should have a "source" or "input button"...you have to select the proper choice. AV TV HDMI 1 2 3 PC.

                  @bytethis ive tried all 3 hdmi ports. Its not working. Im thinking my sd card corrupted or something.

                    @rufus377 Start with this:

                    1. Use a DVD player or any other video player with HDMI capability to any of the available HDMI port on the TV. Make sure that the DVD can play video on this HDMI port. If that is working, replace the connection with the RPi using the same HDMI cable and port.
                    2. Format the microSD card and reinstall Retropie on the card. Install it into the RPi and power up again. Any luck?

                      @ortsac i tried formatting it on a computer but it only says it has like 58 mb..should i use a phone that takes sd card to format?

                        @rufus377 Use SDFomatter software. It will format the sd card and show the proper space available on the card.

                          @bytethis i popped it in my phone and formatted it and just reloaded retro pi on there and it worked like a charm!!
