      Hi,

I believe this topic has been referenced before, but I couldn't find the thread.

Question - how can I get attract mode to boot into a specific emulator's game list. For example, how would I boot directly to the Arcade or MAME game list. When I reviewed AM's boot options, I see an option to boot directly to the last rom played and some other options, but I don't see an option to boot directly into a specific game list.

Again, apologies if this has already been addressed. If someone can point me to the past thread, I'd appreciate it.

      Thanks,

      Jim

@jamesrives I'm sure it's been referenced before but not for Attract Mode. I'm really not sure if that is supported here or how different the set-up is. The assumption on this forum is that you are using the official image with ES as a front end. Sorry.

@jonnykesh you can install attract mode from RetroPie Setup, so it's certainly supported and quite a few people would use it (not myself, though).

So maybe someone in the community still have an answer to this.

@pjft I know it can be installed from RetroPie. I've seen it, It's in "experimental packages", are the experimental packages now receiving full support? I just don't know anyone who actually uses it. Do you? Maybe I should have said "I'm not sure it's fully supported here as it is an experimental package". I'm sorry if I was not clear. My English is not so good sometimes. Apologies.
